Beyond their work on some of the world’s most renowned road E-Types, they have restored and maintained a variety of Jaguar models, including both road and racing versions. Where it all started: It was William Munger "Bill" Heynes (1903-1989) who laid the foundation for Jaguar’s iconic legacy, gifting the world what Enzo Ferrari famously called "the most beautiful car ever made." As Jaguar’s Chief Engineer and Technical Director, Heynes developed the groundbreaking XK engine and persuaded Sir William Lyons to enter Le Mans—a move that led to five historic Jaguar victories. From 1935 to 1970, he oversaw the design and engineering of every Jaguar model.

Now, more than fifty years later, the third generation of the Heynes family continues to honor Bill's legacy. Led by his grandson, William Heynes Ltd is committed to preserving and restoring Jaguar E-Types to the highest standards of quality and authenticity, always achieving concours-level excellence.
